Library notifications

Notifications about your current loans, overdue items or reservations are sent to your UNSW email account.

Interlibrary loans

If the Library does not have access to a book or journal article that you need for your studies, you can submit a request to obtain the item on interlibrary loan. UNSW Library will obtain it for you from another library. 

Interlibrary loans are available to all current UNSW students and staff.

Borrowing
Loan period is generally four weeks, unless recalled, and four hour loans for Course Readings Collection items.
Undergraduates can have 50 items out on loan.

Document Supply
Request items not held at a UNSW Library.

Inter Campus loans
Request to have items transferred between UNSW campuses.

Book a space in the library
Spaces are available to UNSW Canberra staff and students.

Printing, Copying and Scanning
Add credit via eftpos or credit card to your UNSW ID card to print or copy at the Academy Library.

Computers and IT

Onsite technology

The Academy Library has a range of technology for UNSW Canberra students and staff to use. These include: 

  • laptops (can be borrowed for up to 4 hours at a time)
  • multifunction printers 
  • AV viewing station 
  • microform reader
