Want to find out what subsets of your research are trending worldwide? Looking for funders who are investing in your discipline? Interested in who else is doing exciting research in your field? At the Academy Library, the two resources we recommend most frequently for these questions are Dimensions and SciVal.
Dimensions is a linked research data platform, linking information on publications, research funding, patents and clinical trials – all on an international scale. This database is designed to help researchers get better knowledge about what is going on in their research area, and how this is changing over time.
SciVal provides access to the research performance of thousands of research institutions and their associated researchers, from hundreds of nations worldwide. Use your Elsevier login details to access, or create an account if you don’t already have one.
